The relationship between energy and economic growth is critical as countries seek net zero emissions at the same time as economic development. What needs to happen for electricity to promote economic growth, and what tools can be used to enhance economic and social benefits of access to clean electricity?

This webinar series will explore the emerging body of evidence from the Applied Research Programme on Energy and Economic Growth. The first webinar reviewed insights across themes and set the scene for further investigation in future sessions, it brought together leading experts and a live audience to discuss:
