Brian Kinuthia is a Senior Manager at EED Advisory, a Pan-African consulting firm with service offerings within the energy, water, and climate change practice lines.

He has varied experience in energy studies within the grid and off-grid energy space. He was the project manager for the countrywide World Bank Kenya Multi-tier Framework (MTF) household survey that sought to track energy and electrification access progress in Kenya towards SEforALL and SDG 7 goals. He has also been involved in various consulting assignments directly and indirectly with the Kenya energy institutions and the Ministry of Energy. He serves as the Vice Secretary of the Association of Energy Professionals Eastern Africa (AEPEA), the local chapter of the global Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

Brian holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya.
