Yemane Brhane works at Mekelle University as a lecturer and researcher in the Ethiopian Institute of TechnologyMekelle (EiT-M), in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He works part-time in Da’amat Architecture and Consulting PLC in the position of Electrical Engineer Consulting.

His research interests are in renewable energy, power system planning, large-scale integration of renewable energy and distributed generation, power quality, and reliability.

Yemane has a Bsc in Electrical and Computer Engineering stream of Electrical Power Engineering and an Msc in Electrical Power Engineering from Mekelle University.
