Martina Bosi is a Senior Energy Economist – Energy Efficiency, Buildings, Climate Change – at ESMAP. She leads ESMAP’s Efficiency and Sustainable Buildings team, which advances the energy efficiency agenda through support to World Bank energy efficiency lending operations, and co-chairs the World Bank's Energy Efficiency Community of Practice.
Prior to joining ESMAP in 2013, Martina worked as a Senior Carbon Finance Specialist in the World Bank Carbon Finance Unit, where she was a founding member of the Partnership for Market Readiness and the fund manager of two carbon funds.
Before this, she developed expertise in energy and climate policy at the Paris-based International Energy Agency, and with the Government of Canada (Natural Resources Canada) where she was a member of the Canadian delegation to the international climate change negotiations.
Martina has an MA in Economics from Université Laval (Québec City, Canada).
