The Indian automobile industry is the fourth largest in the world. Over 210 million cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and other vehicles currently ply the country’s roads. India has demonstrated its commitment to transition to electric vehicles and is part of the Electric Vehicle Initiative under the global Clean Energy Ministerial.
