Jörg Peters is a specialist for energy and environmental policies in developing countries and the evaluation of development interventions. Jörg is heading the research group ‘Climate Change in Developing Countries’ at RWI Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, and is a Professor at the University of Passau, both in Germany.  

He designed the methodology and supervised the survey implementation of various evaluation studies in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Indonesia, Rwanda, Mozambique, Senegal, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia. Jörg has advised several international organisations such as the United Nations, World Bank, 3ie, FMO, MCC, and GIZ. He is research associate at the Environment for Development network at the University of Gothenburg and the Sustainable Energy Transitions Initiative (SETI) at Duke University.
