Lucas Davis
Principal Investigator

Lucas Davis is the Jeffrey A. Jacobs Distinguished Professor in Business and Technology at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. He is also the Faculty Director at the Energy Institute at Haas, Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and Co-editor at the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy. 

His research focuses on energy and environmental markets – in particular, electricity and natural gas regulation, pricing in competitive and non-competitive markets, and the economic and business impacts of environmental policy. 

Lucas has a PhD and an MS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a BA (Magna Cum Laude) from Amherst College. Prior to joining the Haas School of Business in 2009, he was Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan.
