The Applied Research Programme on Energy and Economic Growth (EEG) aims to transform energy policy in developing countries by generating world-class research on the linkages between energy and economic growth. EEG has two main components: first, the production of high-quality research that address key gaps in our knowledge of how energy drives economic growth in low- income countries; and second, activities to ensure that research questions are influenced by- and research outputs are accessible to- those in a position to influence energy policy and energy systems.
