Gabrial is an expert in energy systems modelling and policy analysis, carrying out energy and climate policy analysis at city, national, regional and global level. He has over 20 years of research experience and working for developed and developing countries. His research for the Global South focuses on the energy access and sustainable energy system transition pathways including quantifying the impacts of climate change on future energy systems development pathways. His recent research for developing countries uses an inclusive approach where stakeholder interact and involve in the project so that any tools developed are policy relevant.
