Ishani Desai works in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) division in the Department of Policy and Evaluation at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). She oversees evaluations for the Ghana II Power Compact, Senegal I Compact, and Indonesia I Compact. In addition, she works on developing the new Compacts with Timor-Leste and Indonesia. Prior to joining MCC, she worked with the World Bank in the social protection and labour global practice and began her career with the Centre for Microfinance in India.

Ishani has a Master’s in Public Administration/International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School.
